Economic Justice Is Racial Justice

The layers of racial justice work are complex and intertwined. There's so much personal and social work to be done that absolutely no one should be at a loss about what they (you) can do about to comprehensively and effectively combat the racial injustices within society, specifically for black people and explicityly for black women.

I'm committed to helping black women personally combat and overcome economic injustices through advocating for viable economic justice policies and programs and personally (through organizing and education) doing my part to gather funds in the form of personal reparations.

Additionally, I intend to help black women gain the knowledge, resources and opportunities to address their financial challenges and not only overcome them, but create businesses, services and products to help them achieve and sustain self-efficacy to financially thrive.

My Top 2 Initiatives
1. Organize and raise funds to support personal reparation campaigns.
2. Offer low-cost and free educational seminars and workshops related to entrepreneurship, branding, marketing and monetizing their message.

Through these initiatives I hope to ease the financial burden for black women while equipping them with the skills and resources they need to financially thrive. In addition, I hope to help as many black women as I can significantly reduce the racial trauma black women experience in the workplace by helping them become their own bosses.

"Your racial justice work must include personal commitment to paying reparations to black people. We cannot wait on the government which is founded upon anti-blackness to make financial amends." - Catrice M. Jackson
